Personally, I love Japan very much. Not just its culture, but also the language, music, comic books, dorama (television pop drama), breathtaking sceneries, the way they think (it is just so OUT OF THE BOX!!), the food!!! Yes, I love all sushi, sashimi, tempura, teriyaki.. And not just their taste, but also the way that they are presented.
Japanese are famous with their delicate touches and attention to details. They simply put art and beauty on top of everything. It is a country of creativity, if I may say. They are also well connected with the nature and even has their design constantly inspired by it. Simple example, you can see the spring food are different from the summer food, from their ingredients until their presentations.
I am speechless when it comes to their world. But still, I want to share some of the interesting stuffs that I found regarding Japan Design.
One of the well-known Japanese culture is origami, paper folding. They can make almost any kind of shapes from just a single piece of paper. These are samples of the graphic origami: cochae
And I also found this interesting origami. It is no longer called as origami, but moneygami.. (^^)
Aren't they amazing??? I always wonder how they get all the ideas. Do they just play around with the paper or they do the sketch first??? Hahaha... If you want to know more, find it here.
